This TPI Corporation PB-42-D direct drive portable blower has a 42" blade diameter, a polyethylene housing with 8" wheels, and is suitable for floor-level air circulation. It has a 1-speed, 120V, 6 amp, single phase, 1/2 hp, permanently lubricated, ball bearing motor with permanent split capacitor and a 12' SJT (Service Junior, Thermoplastic) three-conductor cord with a three-prong plug for connecting to the grounded electric outlet. The permanent split capacitor motor provides both starting torque and the ability to run at variable speeds. The blade assembly (consisting of a steel hub and spider) holds the fan head's four aluminum paddles, which are enclosed by a high-density polyethylene side housing and front and rear steel wire guards for durability and resistance to corrosion. The fan has a rotary switch and can be positioned horizontally for precise direction of air flow. This portable blower is Intertek Testing Services (ETL) listed for safety.
